EXCELLENT LARGE FORMAT PRINTER FOR THE PRICE
WE WERE LOOKING FOR A COLOR LASER PRINTER THAT HANDLED LARGE FORMAT. DECENT PRINTERS WERE AT LEAST 2-4K. NOT ONLY WAS THIS PRINTER UNDER 1K BUT IT PRINTS IN COLOR WIDE FORMAT FAST HIGH QUALITY AND THE GEL INK HAS HIGH YIELD EVEN BETTER THAN MOST COLOR LASER PRINTERS. PLUS THE INK DRIES COMPLETELY OUT BEFORE RE-FILL IS NEEDED UNLIKE OTHER LASER CARTRIDGES WHICH PROMPT REFILL IS NEEDED WHEN ITS NOT EVEN EMPTY. OVERALL WE ARE VERY SATISFIED. WE DID NEED TO ADD A NETWORK INTERFACE CARD AND A BYPASS TRAY.

Not a happy camper...
This printer was purchased for our office. We've had it a little over a year and have had endless problems with it. In attempting to print a 10 page document it's not unusual to get 3 - 4 paper jams! The rollers by the printer exit door cover keep coming out too. The paper does not seat well in the top paper tray which may also be contributing to the problems. When it does print the quality is decent and I appreciate the double sided feature. However I would caution you strongly against this printer it's been a real headache for our department. There is another department that has the same model of printer and have also had problems with it.

Ricoh Printer
As always delivery via Amazon was just as promised!
For a non-techie the learning curve on this combo is very steep. We've had it now for just under 2 months and we are still stuggling just a bit. It seems like it will do what it was advertised to do.
We have had to have Ricoh out to correct a copy problem - a connector ribbon was jared out of position during shipment and finally disconnedted causing the copy function to become inoperable. It was covered by warranty. The tech service people at Ricoh are very helpful.
The copier will not duplex two sided originals.
Oh the toner is a bit pricy. Black was $117 through Amazon. You'll need to check with Ricoh for the correct toner as the printer tech data does not list it.

Excellent Value- Inexpensive Color Networking Printer- GX3050NGreat Printer.. Super fast for Ink based printers.. Rivals my b&w laser printer for speed. Its a snap to hook up to a network and its a workhorse. Paper capacity is very good.. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Good speed quality printout nice product.
